As we know living in Southern California, when it rains the few times that it does in our sunny land, it can show us where leaky seams are in roofs. For this client we put a tarp over the entire roof. This eliminates any further water damage through the roof to the home's interior. Now the homeowner and get the roof inspected and repairs can be made when the weather is dry and clear. (no pokie-mon were found or caught on this roof)

Can you hear me now? Well they certainly could at the Verizon Store on Long Beach Blvd. at 3:30 a.m.! We work hard for our clients. Not many people hear the phone ring at 3 a.m. We are always ready to go when "the call" comes in from Long Beach Police Department. This Verizon Store had a broken front door, so we board it up in a way that allows them to keep the store locked. This allows the store to coordinated with there insurance and a glass company to get the repairs completed. Sometimes the repair is very quick, occasionally this takes a day or two. They can still service their clients in the meantime.

Cali Daze - Broken Window Bays! At 1AM someone thought that it was a good idea to "check into" this smoke shop and not the kind of "check-in" on Facebook. They wanted to "check-in" though the front door. We are not sure if they were casing Pokie-mon or just in a Cali Daze.
No matter what they were doing, once the Long Beach Police Department gets called, so do we. We arrive on site to board up and secure the store front door. This way when the people at Cali Daze can still come to work in the morning. The property is secure so that they are able to schedule repairs and get the glass replaced.

Not all of our emergency calls are fire related, massive break-ins, a car in a building or are on the news. However, they are important to our the store owners and to the city. We treat all of our calls with the same level of importance. This emergency call was easy enough to secure with a hasp and a lock.

At 3 a.m. in Long Beach, are you awake? We sure are! When someone breaks a window, in the wee hours in of the morning it needed to be boarded up. The reasons why we board things up are vast. To prevent the culprit form returning after everyone has cleared out, to secure the property, to prevent further damage, or to give the owner piece of mind. We secured this window to not cause further damage to the frame. This way the property owner can just have the glass replaced. We do our best to prevent further repairs, such as replacing the whole window frame. We make sure that it is secure and not easy to regain entry to the property until repairs can be scheduled.

We don't think that the Rejuvenate Spa intended there name to be taken literally. They did not intend for there front door to get a treatment. Luckily for them we are on call 24/7/365. When a break-in happens are arrive within an hour, we are greeted by the Long Beach Police, as they remain on site as we secure the property and clear the glass. Once the property is secure the owner and tenant can schedule the repairs, and can still operate the business.
What happens when no-one is home and you have a break-in? What happens is someone calls the poliece or your alarm company calls. Then the 911 dispatch calls us, as we run a 24/7/365 emergency board-up. We get called out for a varity of projects. Large and small - we do it all.

We are very grateful to work along side our first responder men and women in the different cities where we perform work. This house caught fire and because of the quick response time for the fire department, the fire was contained to only this property. Although the surrounding units did have some damage, the fire was contained to this uint. All of the windows needed to be secure from the inside of the apartment, after the fire department ensured the fire and any smoldering remains were out.
As we approach the upcoming holiday season we will be sending out some tips to be safe as you entertain your friends and family.

When duty calls. When an emergency arrises. We take off to save the day of the business owner. As every small and large business does not anticipate to have break-ins or arrive to work with broken glass. Sometimes it happens. We are lucky to be the ones that save the day. When we get the call from 911 we arrive on site within an hour to secure and clean up the glass.
We pay special attention to doors opening and gates being able to be secured over the board-up.
The most important thing to any business owner is the ability to be "Open" for business. Now they can still be open, as they schedule the glass repairs.

When we get the call that a window is broken, we arrive onsite with a fully stocked truck ready to fit any size window. This rounded wall was not an issue for us. We measure the wood, and closed the broken window so it was ready when restaurant staff showed up for work later in the morning.
With this, the restaurant is ready for business and they are scheduling the repairs. We clean up the exterior broken glass and leave the business clean to prevent injury.

Sometimes, it is not clear if someone was attempting to break into a property or just do damage in the community. This business has metal fencing on its windows and would appear difficult to break into. However, Murphy's Law.
Things always happen and when we get the call we arrive onsite, not ever really knowing more than (door/ window/ 2 windows/ etc.) Our trucks are fully stocked with all necessary tools and equipment to handle large and small emergencies. We secure the business or property and clean up the exterior glass so that future repairs can be made.

Due to the nature of our business, it is 24/7/365, each emergency is different. Sometimes it is just a broken door on a store front. Our main goal is the secure the business until the repairs can be completed. We help ensure they can still get in and out until they can have the glass repaired. We have the pleasure of working with many different people, companies, and agencies. We see first hand how a broken window, door or a break-in can effect someones day and life. We pride our selves in securing the property or home for the homeowners in a way (like the sandwiched photo below) this is a method we use, to not damage the door frame. This allows the for only the glass to be replaced, and ensures that the glass can be replaced and saves our customers the cost of replacing the entire door frame.

What do you do when a trailer comes unhitched, rolls towards your house, crashes into your house and breaks a few windows? Improbable yet not impossible. Who do you call? 911? Your insurance company? Luckily sometimes we are contracted with both. This way you have a better chance to get the best quality service to help you in your times of unexpected emergency. This project consisted of closing up the broken windows, the glass and securing the windows with plywood. We "sandwiched" the wood so the window frame would not be damaged and the homeowner can simply get new glass.

Long Beach Fire Department stays busy and so do we. When the fire department has completed their rigorous inspection to ensure all smolders are completely extqinshed. We can now begin to close up the property. A good bit of the time we are doing this in the evening, late night, and wee morning hours. We are fully equipped with lights, head lamps and backup generators. We work until the site is secure.

Fire can take a hold of a property quickly. As the fire department works virigiously to extinguish the fire. We received the call and dispatched our team with a truck equipped with all supplies (sometimes two trucks) to close up and secure the property. A homeowner or business owner has a lot to deal with, that is why we are contacted to secure and enclose the property from any further damages. This gives you time to regroup.

Occasionally when we get a emergency call, and the location is a business complex for several shops the damages can spill over from one business to another. This site visit showed that two business had broken glass on entry doors. As we usually do, we secure the doors, so that repairs can be scheduled. We clean up the exterior of the site to be free and clear of broken glass and debris related to the break in.
When 911 dispatch calls us out to a residential or commercial property we come prepared, for the large and small jobs. Occasionally the damage is done to a vacant property. The police stay with us on-site as we complete the work needed to make the property secure again. We secure the doors, windows, crawl spaces, as well as fencing with locks and chain if need. Every property is unique so our trucks are prepared.
When we need to add an extra layer of protection to a property we get requests to add chain link fence. We are happy to oblige our clients when they need additional security.
