5304... Board up Larger than a door!

Sarah Strader

One of the many March Madness, window smashing.

Since our trucks are fully stocked and ready to roll, any size project is not to large. With the March Madness project we drove down the street to each storefront that was smashed and boarded up one right after the other.  We have a great relationships with the Police Department as well as the Fire Departments. They know that when they call... we show up!

Eyelash Extensions, Anyone?

Eyelash Extensions? Anyone...

When the Long Beach Police are called to the location they do not always know what they are walking into. We do not either, luckily the Police ensure that the site is clear of any mischief so we can perform our work. They remain on site with us until we finish. We do everything we can to make sure the site is secure and store manager and owner can gain access upon returning to work and schedule the needed repairs.

Coffee, Pastries, and Broken Glass.

Sarah Strader

Coffee, Pastries, and Broken Glass. Not the most sought after combination at your local coffee shop. Its not on the regular menu here either. Someone else thought that it should be on the midnight specials menu. Since the Long Beach police and the owner disagree with the new menu addition, we get the call to be on site and board up the door and clean up the glass. We do everything that we can to prevent additional damage to the door frame and securing the business simultaneously. This allows the business owner to continue running day-to-day operations and schedule repairs.

Late Night at the office.

Sarah Strader

Working late at the office? Maybe someone else, like a non-employee was checking out the office to see if they wanted to work with you. Or Maybe it was just a random act of vandalism. Whatever the reason, it does not keep us form coming out when called. Boarding-up the door to secure the office, when the staff arrives in the morning they are able to still arrive to a safe place and schedule the repairs.

Cricket Wireless.... Did the Crickets Chirp?

Sarah Strader

Did the cricket chirp? Well they certainly did at 3:30 a.m.! We work hard for our clients. Not many people hear the phone ring at 3 a.m.  We are always ready to go when "the call" comes in from Long Beach Police Department. This Wireless Store had a broken front door, so we board it up in a way that allows them to keep the store locked. This allows the store to coordinated with there insurance and a glass company to get the repairs completed. Sometimes the repair is very quick, occasionally this takes a day or two. They can still service their clients in the meantime.

4am Early Bird Shopping at CVS- Redondo Beach

Sarah Strader

Although CVS is not open 24/7, some may think so. Several companies are open 24/7, like us. We strive to secure the doors so they can remain functional and operational. This sliding door still had a functional lock, so we added a little notch out so the manager and owner could continue to lock the store. We are not alway able to avoid screwing into the metal door frame. This is always based on function of the window or door. This door was able to be operational when they opened later that morning.  We leave the property clear of the broken glass on the sidewalk and secure so they can schedule repairs.

Can you hear me NOW!

Sarah Strader

Can you hear me now? Well they certainly could at the Verizon Store on Long Beach Blvd. at 3:30 a.m.! We work hard for our clients. Not many people hear the phone ring at 3 a.m.  We are always ready to go when "the call" comes in from Long Beach Police Department. This Verizon Store had a broken front door, so we board it up in a way that allows them to keep the store locked. 3AM in Long Beach are you awake?

Sarah Strader

At 3 a.m. in Long Beach, are you awake? We sure are! When someone breaks a window, in the wee hours in of the morning it needed to be boarded up. The reasons why we board things up are vast. To prevent the culprit form returning after everyone has cleared out, to secure the property, to prevent further damage, or to give the owner piece of mind. We secured this window to not cause further damage to the frame. This way the property owner can just have the glass replaced. We do our best to prevent further repairs, such as replacing the whole window frame. We make sure that it is secure and not easy to regain entry to the property until repairs can be scheduled.

Rejuvenate Spa. Emergency Rejuvenation!

Sarah Strader

We don't think that the Rejuvenate Spa intended there name to be taken literally. They did not intend for there front door to get a treatment. Luckily for them we are on call 24/7/365. When a break-in happens are arrive within an hour, we are greeted by the Long Beach Police, as they remain on site as we secure the property and clear the glass. Once the property is secure the owner and tenant can schedule the repairs, and can still operate the business.

Accident in Cerritos

Sarah Strader

We have the pleasure of working with many different people, companies, and agencies. We see first hand how a broken window, door or a break-in can effect someones day and life. We pride our selves in securing the property or home for the homeowners in a way (like the sandwiched photo below) this is a method we use, to not damage the door frame. This allows the for only the glass to be replaced, and ensures that the glass can be replaced and saves our customers the cost of replacing the entire door frame.

Runaway Trailer

Sarah Strader

What do you do when a trailer comes unhitched, rolls towards your house, crashes into your house and breaks a few windows? Improbable yet not impossible. Who do you call? 911? Your insurance company? Luckily sometimes we are contracted with both. This way you have a better chance to get the best quality service to help you in your times of unexpected emergency.   This project consisted of closing up the broken windows, the glass and securing the windows with plywood. We "sandwiched" the wood so the window frame would not be damaged and the homeowner can simply get new glass.

Stay safe.

Late Night Nails & Eats

Sarah Strader

Occasionally when we get a emergency call, and the location is a business complex for several shops the damages can spill over from one business to another. This site visit showed that two  business had broken glass on entry doors. As we usually do, we secure the doors, so that repairs can be scheduled. We clean up the exterior of the site to be free and clear of broken glass and debris related to the break in.

Broken Glass

Sarah Strader

When you have a sliding door that gets broken what are the steps that you should take? Sometime, you call the police, and sometimes you call your insurance company. Luckily for you, sometimes, we are contracted by both. We always give an estimated time to arrive on site. We arrive with all of the necessary tools, supplies and staffing to help you with your personal emergency and leave your property clean. This gives you the peace of mind of a secure home and lets you focus on the next steps to have your home repaired.

Donut Anyone?

Sarah Strader

Anyone in the mood for a drive through Donut? I don't think that the shop owner agreed as this car not only hit the building, but also drove the car though a big part of the store.

Sometimes, our projects make the news. This one did! Running a 24/7 Emergency service we encounter all kinds of emergencies. Luckily no one was hurt in this accident. We arrived on site about 3:30am.

We began with building some structure to secure a main wall in this donut shop. With a hole this size, we would not have any structure to attach the plywood to, so we build our own. We clean up site debris and broken glass. When the work is completed the store owner has a clean and secure building again.
