We have seen this too many times, as a fire can damage one house, it can also do more damage to an apartment complex or multi family building. It is very sad to see, however everyone got out with minor injuries. We are proud to get the call from one of our service providers to come and board up projects for them. We understand that these families have been through a lot at this point. So securing the building so no further damage can be done is what we do. 

We get creative on the spot and come up with a way to fix, repair, or adjust to a situation or a need. This is our strong suit, its truly what we are known for. Well that, and being on time.

Plywood Sandwich!

Board-Up Sandwich... This is a way to secure a property without damaging the door or window.  It is the board up solution of choice when we have access to the inside of the property.  This allows the property owner to replace the glass and not the whole window or door.

The Police ensure that the site is clear of any mischief so we can perform our work. They remain on site with us until we finish. We do everything we can to make sure the site is secure so the owner can gain access upon returning and schedule the needed repairs.

Another day and other board up, this little shop had just a broken window. When we work with business owners on a main access door, we make an "sandwich" to secure the door which does not damage the door and make repair costs much less.  This type of board-up is only possible when there is access to the inside.  This type of board-up allows the owners to lock and unlock the door, so they do not experience much or any down time.

Rinse and Repeat? Not sure thats what this was...

Rinse and Repeat? says the shampoo bottle.  However, we're pretty sure that the Fire Department does not use this as a typical business practice.  They needed to repeat this process due to someone breaking in again and catching the building on fire. We have boarded up this building before, because of a previous fire. The Fire Department had cut large wholes to ensure the fire is out, and no smolders are present. 

Luckily this building has been vacant for some time now.

Living the Night Life in Long Beach.

We are ready 24/7/365 for any size project that comes our way - rain or shine.  Large window and doors are not a issue for us, were are fully stocked and ready to rumble.  When we arrive on site we assess the situation for the materials needed to complete the project. After measuring the openings, we cut the wood to begin boarding up the windows, doors, garages, and even rebuilding corners of buildings, whatever is needed.

Under Lock and Key! All of our jobs are equally important and we take them in the order that they come in to our emergency call number. Small Jobs - Larger Jobs we are proud to be working with the Police department on all of there jobs. This project was to secure this entry door with a hasp and a lock. This adds an extra layer of security to a door that has been damaged.

Fire in Long Beach

When a fire breaks out in Long Beach, we are called by the dispatch center. The expectation for us is the same as the Fire Department, to arrive swiftly and prepared. Which we do every time. We are proud and honored to work along side our men and women in the police and fire departments. They are incredibly diligent ensuring that all the fire, smolders, and embers are completely out before we start to board up the property. 

We secure the house so that break-ins, further damages or lookie lou's are kept out as this family can rebuild.

When a Long Beach clothing store gets a broken window, we are on our way - SLS to the rescue! Once again, even a small broken widow can leave a business owner feeling vunerable and exposed. Luckily, we understand how important it is to secure even the small windows and doors. 

Now the business owner can open and continue with business as usual while they schedule to have the glass replaced.

Cali Daze - Or Pokie-Mon Chase

Cali Daze - Broken Window Bays! At 1AM someone thought that it was a good idea to "check into" this smoke shop and not the kind of "check-in" on Facebook. They wanted to "check-in" though the front door. We are not sure if they were casing Pokie-mon or just in a Cali Daze. 

No matter what they were doing, once the Long Beach Police Department gets called, so do we. We arrive on site to board up and secure the store front door. This way when the people at Cali Daze can still come to work in the morning. The property is secure so that they are able to schedule repairs and get the glass replaced.

Not all of our emergency calls are fire related, massive break-ins, a car in a building or are on the news.  However, they are important to our the store owners and to the city. We treat all of our calls with the same level of importance. This emergency call was easy enough to secure with a hasp and a lock.

3AM in Long Beach are you awake?

At 3 a.m. in Long Beach, are you awake? We sure are! When someone breaks a window, in the wee hours in of the morning it needed to be boarded up. The reasons why we board things up are vast. To prevent the culprit form returning after everyone has cleared out, to secure the property, to prevent further damage, or to give the owner piece of mind. We secured this window to not cause further damage to the frame. This way the property owner can just have the glass replaced. We do our best to prevent further repairs, such as replacing the whole window frame. We make sure that it is secure and not easy to regain entry to the property until repairs can be scheduled.

House Fire - Long Beach

We are very grateful to work along side our first responder men and women in the different cities where we perform work. This house caught fire and because of the quick response time for the fire department, the fire was contained to only this property. Although the surrounding units did have some damage, the fire was contained to this uint. All of the windows needed to be secure from the inside of the apartment, after the fire department ensured the fire and any smoldering remains were out. 

As we approach the upcoming holiday season we will be sending out some tips to be safe as you entertain your friends and family.

911 Fire

Long Beach Fire Department stays busy and so do we. When the fire department has completed their rigorous inspection to ensure all smolders are completely extqinshed. We can now begin to close up the property. A good bit of the time we are doing this in the evening, late night, and wee morning hours. We are fully equipped with lights, head lamps and backup generators. We work until the site is secure.

Fire in Long Beach, CA

When a fire hits, it can be quite shocking. Luckily, the Long Beach Fire Department amazing in such emergencies. When we get "the call" from Long Beach Fire Department, we imagine what you must be going through. We feel lucky to be on call for them. We arrive ready to go to work. We  have a fully loaded truck at all times. We have outfitted our trucks to be ready with a variety of tools and equipment. Our motto is to be ready to go at all times. 

We board up windows, doors, and garages to secure the property from any further damage. We have even covered roofs with plywood and rebuild door frames. Our goal is to board up and secure the property so that you can take the next steps in rebuilding.
